Beaty was already improving recruiting; I'm just not seeing recruiting quality improvement versus yet over what Beaty would have signed in 2020.
Looking at scores from last season: "Dumpster Fire" Kansas lost competitive games versus Kansas State, Oklahoma and Texas. So in Year3 this "young" coach with a small salary had this crummy school competing with the Big12's best.

Now they are fighting paying his buyout thru shady or lying tactics.

So maybe their athletic director is not Mr. Great.
