it is not compassionate.
It is not intended to accomplish anything other than to signal Their own virtue and their sense of sanctimonious superiority.
It is not intended to help the homeless, reduce crime, end racism, clean up the streets or save the planet. It is solely an attempt to get power for socialists by naïve foot soldiers who want to believe they are working for a cause.
Deep down though, they know that they are only working to make themselves feel better. The stuff they are doing has been done ad nauseam for 50 years. It only gets worse.
But saying they are doing something, and pretending to believe it, makes them feel better.
They are stupid enough to believe in the socialist promise of fairness and equality. Makes them feel good ... about themselves.
Liberal compassion is selfish, self-centered, and totally unconcerned about the plight of any of the people or issues they pretend to care about. Issues that don’t even exist. Like man caused global warming and institutional racism.
Liberal compassion is an oxymoron.
And um, it’s FEWER people, not less people.
