Jobs in solar construction pay about $10/hour for anyone who is not an electrician. The vast majority are unskilled day laborer type roles that carry panels to the structure and use an electric drill to torque them down.
There are supervisory roles that pay more, naturally... but 95% of the labor is $10/hour. Executives are very well paid..... as in any industry, but workers who move from oil to solar take a HUGe pay cut and become ‘migrant workers’ as the job sites are 100’s of miles from each other
