the Big12, we wouldn't play them.

There are KU fans in KC, but that's about it as far as the Big 12 goes.

K-State was a small-time school, a glorified community college. It was embarrassing to be associated with them. I dislike KU, but at least they're a state flagship university (albeit a tiny, insignificant state).
