there's a whole host of folks in the meme/twitter population that eat up anything that's intended to make fun of the other side, whether it makes sense or not.

It reminds me of the college conference reshuffling where folks would take that guy from Longhorn.com (or whatever the site was) and run with it as gospel, when he was just spreading crap.
