This Mizzou team looks as if it will have size, skill, depth, and great guard play.
A lot depends on Tilmon. In his 3rd season, he has the potential to be the best big in the SEC.
Of course, an outsider might not expect much of Dru, Kobe, Tray, and Parker, who are newcomers. He might not have noticed the late season improvement in Nikko, Mitch, Watson, or even Pinson. No one knows how much Okono can contribute, or whether he'll even show up. McKinney is also an unknown to an outsider.
Missouri has been jinxed in their big men, for the most part. Also, it seems there is always some huge injury
or scandal that ruins the season.
I'm optimistic for this time in the summer. Compare to last season. Will we get better play from Kobe and Tray, and possibly Parker Braun, than from Puryear and Santos? Will Dru and Pinson be as good or better, together, than Jordan Geist? Will Tilmon play better?
I like this upcoming team. Right now, I see a deep roster of guys who I believe can play at the SEC level. I have no idea how CM will combine them.
We could finish 13th, but IMO we could also be a lot better.
