Or Russia can just do it themselves and flip the narrative by getting Biden/Bernie/Sanders elected using the 2016 playbook. That would set off Trump and could cause a scenario where he won't accept the election results. That is the best-case scenario for Russia. A sitting US president who won't transfer power peacefully.
