in that same time frame, Americans spent 40 billion on cigarettes.

I think the products (computers, electronics, materials, etc) that developed from the space program were well worth the money spent.

Maybe Trump can shift that wall-building money that Mexico is paying for - into a return to the Moon or work towards manned travel to Mars.

Or, maybe cut his golf outings in half.
