Whatever excuses you want to make for Locke and the offense and having receivers injured etc. the Liberty bowl was lost by a defense that absolutely was blown out of the water by the Oklahoma State spread offense. That’s my point. To predict a national championship and conference titles and undefeated seasons after watching the defense perform in that game against a team that had a number of players sitting out is wacky in my opinion.
