2. Please explain how the sea surface temperature has been measured/calculated. I.e. has it been estimated and if so what was the methodology? Has it been measured in particular locations and then a global estimate made from those measurements? If so, where were the measurements taken. I.e. once for every square mile, once for every 100 square miles, once for every 1,000 square miles? How often were the measurements taken, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly?
The bottom line is without knowing the methodology employed to come up with the measurements on which your statement is based, there's no way to judge if that methodology is sound or not.
