topic.
Not sure where one begins on that - literally at the beginning or the end. The end of course being the application the term "Christos" to the Nazarene preacher. Christos means the "anointed one", specifically, the warrior king. But I know that is not what you mean, as the Jewish people by and large rejected the idea that an impoverished itinerant preacher was their anointed king.
Or we begin at the beginning which includes tackling such thorny issues as the Blessed, immaculate Conception of a jewish baby girl between years 13-16 BCE or then further back to the existence of the God, Yahweh - believed by some to be a mere demi-urge or by others as the One and Only God, El, Elohim, Allah and HIS interceding in human affairs by magically impregnating this 13 year old virgin with the Seed of the Divine.
Lot to tackle there on "the Meaning of the Birth of the Christ". It ACTUALLY - to get to the real point goes back to the Hebrew Creation story of Adam and Eve. So if you want to dive in to a discussion of the Meaning of the Birth - go ahead. I think your approach will be that Jesus the One, does away with all that silly Hebrew Mythology, though Jesus was in fact the leader of Jewish Cult.
