rotations with this team and it just got more complicated for many of you. Many on here talk like we're going to have a legit 13-man rotation. Everybody is gonna do....something.
The question you need to start with is: which 3 guys are not going to play?
No, I don't necessarily mean they don't play ever, but at the end of the year their real mpg is under 5.
For example, the stat sheet says Santos played 12.3 mpg. That is 246 minutes in 20 games. But there were really 32 games so his real mpg was 7.7.
So, looking for guys who's real mpg is under 5 and likely don't appear in many games.
Personally, if Mitch can make any sort of improvement over what he was doing late in the season, I'd support redshirting Brown. I can hear it now, but Brown can do this and this and he'll be a major factor on this team. Listen, 13 guys simple can not play a notable role. Somebody has to sit and Brown might be pressed to find a role this season but I think we all agree he has a real good upside. Let him develop and balance the classes a bit.
I see no role for Okongo other than the occasional defensive specialist if Tilmon is in foul trouble. Nikko is not great, but he is steady on D and has at least a bit of offense.
#3 is probably Mitch or Braun or McKinney. Hell if I know.
