Potential role: Starting point
Likely role: Backup point guard


Summary: Pinson had a solid overall freshman year. He was a rare player on the roster who could beat his man off the dribble and make a play, however he struggled with turnovers. His three point shooting was a pleasant surprise as he shot ovee 40% from three last season. If he’s improved his decision making and strength he could be the starting of if Martin wants to start multiple ballhandlers, but for now look for Pinson to backup Dru Smith, possibly the teams’s best player at point guard.
