appointment risks "destroying some one's life"?
And all I said was that you over-react.
And share - WHAT "power" was sought in fully investigating Kavanaugh. Let's look at this. Let's say that Ford gave a solid account, the best friend fessed up and it was found - yeah hey, this fellow might be not be best suited for the Supremes. His behaviour that day in that hearing clearly demonstrated THAT, but that is another issue. What power was sought in that - as you claim? What power did these few Democratic Senators seek by fulfilling their full inquiry. YES, that might have kept the guy out. Guys have been denied Supreme seats before. MANY have walked away for fear of being exposed.
So - honestly the issue might be what the Right is willing to do to secure power - securing a supreme seat - by overlooking events and decisions and events in a man's life. Should pinning a girl to a bed to cop a feel when you are a drunk HS jock preclude you from the court? I don't know.
Again - no one is destroying anyone's life. Candidates for such appointments have a choice to risk exposure of their lives. This dramatic charade of Kavanaugh as a poor victim proved effective. Lindsay got his win. But don't come at me to excuse YOUR behavior, let alone on the false claims you make here.
