1. I have no problem answering questions in a thread in which i have taken a position. It ifsfair to ask for someone who has come out on a subject to be able to support it. I have no problem with that.
2. Posters in my opinion have NO OBLIGATION to answer questions posed to them without a foundational post by the person they are asking. That is not to say that the requested poster should not answer, only that he has no ethical obligation to answer.
My opinion.
3. I have no intention to lay out in what would undoubtedly be many pages, of ideology and philosophy introducing myself and stating my principles.
4. I try to answer questions that i feel are relevant and that probe for specifics on a position i have taken previously. I don't always do that but i try to. Y'day for example i cited several similarities between vague statements by pols and a similar bumper sticker load of crap offered by a poster. I did not ask any questions.
The poster opined on what i wrote and asked me to respond. I did not, until i was called out for not answering.
I try.
5. I do not read or respond to The Idiot. I read his subject line only because they are inescapable. I do not read beyond that and do not respond.
If you have questions, i will attempt to answer. But i have no intention of posting a tome of my beliefs and ideology and hold it up for your scrutiny.
I will defend my positions. And when like yesterday good counter points were made (in this case by georgia and alfred iirc) i will reconsider my position.
Ask, maybe i'll answer.
