Smart people aren't going to want to live in a state like that, and without smart people the candidate pool for employment dries up and companies go elsewhere, so smart people don't want to live there. There will still be KFCs and Walmarts, but the actual good jobs will leave and so will the educated population.
There will eventually be states where the majority of the population is Trump supporters (not just voting population, but the actual population). And then who takes care of them, how do they reproduce, how do things continue to function? These states are going to fall into a sad state of decay and poverty and ignorance.
