I don't know if you are capable of understanding it though.
Speaker Pelosi is one of the toughest, smartest and most skilled pols in the country. IF they files articles or impeachment, Mitch would not bring it up for a vote - and Donnie would be out there claiming to be cleared finally, that no less august a body than the US Senate has FULLY EXONERATED HIM.
Now why would the Speaker give that line to Trump?
I favor hearings, just not articles. In a more honest world the man would be removed from office. But this is not an honest world so Pelosi plays the cards she is dealt.
As for Trump's approval it has never, ever once broached 50% and today hovers b/t 41-45%.
