Trying to simplify an issue like this into the either/or you're suggesting is a disservice to the issue itself. There are an incredible number of factors that go into a decision like this.

I think if the fetus can survive outside of its mother's womb then abortion should only be available in an extreme "mom's gonna die" situation. So like after 24/25 weeks or so. But those are rare anyway.
