The high priced housing costs of CA, NY are the direct result of govt regulation driving the cost of housing to the point where only the high end houses have enough of a profit margin to build.
Which, then drives the remaining inventory of poor, middle class housing thru the roof as well, since no new house are being built.
The problem dem cities have, is that they are led by dems. They act like JG, and seek to make decisions, policy based on emotion, rather than facts, logic, and economics.
Naturally, the dem retards will instead create more legislation, regulation, and manage to drive the cost even higher, which in turn create more homeless, who make that problem worse too.
The real problem for dems in those cities, is that they don't have any republicans to blame for it anymore, like they normally do.
