On mountain top because waters were being lowered. Noah releases a dove. It can't find anywhere to perch, so it returns. 7 days later Noah releases another dove. That dove returns later that day with an olive leaf.
So we are expected to believe in one week, water still covered the surface, then 7 days later not only was the water gone, an olive tree sprang from seed, grew and developed leaves for the 2nd dove to pluck.
