Some more math for you.. the effectiveness is not each time

"when used correctly the male condom is 98% effective, but that’s not to say there is a 2% chance of becoming pregnant every time you use one. A 2% failure rate actually means that for every 100 woman using the contraceptive method for an entire year, two will experience an unintended pregnancy." (see the link below for that data)

So... that .004% chance of pregnancy is for that population for the entire year...

If all 74 million women between the age of 15 and 50 (lets' call that 'breeding age') were having sex and properly using the pill and condom. it would result in 2,960 unintended pregnancies in a year.. (74 million * 0.004%)
