But in addition to the countless players ku has gainfully employed to play basketball for pay over the past 10-15 years without repercussion, they have actually had a massive number of players held out/ suspended for accepting illegal benefits, investigation into their eligibility and the like. I’d say it is easily at least one player a year over the last decade, certainly far more than any other school in the nation (and, again, this doesn’t even count the tremendous amount they managed to slip through the cracks). Self always whines about it, but they never get put on probation and apparently never will.....
