But for the media, you'd only be seeing them in a live play or act. So, I guess they could be traveling minstrels, but media is how you become aware of them and how the public learns to hang on their every word. And yes, it works for the libs too. Rachel Maddow is a media personality. Her opinion wouldn't be known except for the medium of television, or it certainly wouldn't reach the numbers that it has.
