This happens late in the recruiting game. Programs are looking to fill out classes, and if a kid is available he can get several offers real quick.

Braun has some talent, but nobody was bringing him in to contribute soon. We're fortunate we were able to bring him in as a walk-on due to his family's connection, but he's not likely doing anything for a couple of seasons.

If we ever hear Martin has put him on scholarship prior to a season, then I think we'll know he's ready to play.
