having 2 homes is a pain in the ass

I watched my dad do it for years. Head to the lake house on Friday afternoon roughly every other week. Spend your first entire day there cleaning it, getting ready for company to arrive.

2 homes is a hell of a lot of work to maintain. 2 yards to upkeep, 2 houses to clean, screw that. Some weekends he would go to his lake house and just spend the entire weekend doing yard work, only to come back home and do the same during the week here in the city.
