it had been described by WWII vets as the most accurate depiction of the landing on D-Day many had ever seen.
In the last row of the theaters were 2 hs aged couples obviously on a date. They were laughing out loud and joking as the opening scene unfolded. Then the troops hit the beach in the landing crafts. The four got silent. When the soldier picked up his arm with the wrist watch on it, they left.
Idiots like that need to see those movies to understand what people sacrificed in the name of freedom.
