I have read this report for 30-40 years if I recall. Do you consider China and Japan white countries. It is your hang-up on race. Looks to me that for the most part this study looks at North American and Europe and we don't do so well. You prefer to focus on white, non-white, not too interested. I was struck in grad school in the 90s that the US was no longer making the top ten in many key indicators. I was raised a proud American and I just find it kind of sad.
