Puryear is a better defensive rebounder, and if he catches with his man sealed at the right spot on the floor he can generally convert with his left hand unless the defender has too much length for him to deal with. He can guard opposing 4's.
Suggs is a perimeter defender.
Neither one are really plus level players no matter how you use them. I think Puryear is the better overall player, but against Kentucky's length history has shown pretty much every shot he takes is going to get blocked.
