Terrific prof if I recall. Upper level History course asking the question about who made the decision to drop those bombs. And why Nagasaki after Hiroshima. Professor's take was that the decision had been made when the Manhattan Project began, that US leadership could not politically survive allowing the war to continue while they sat on this major weapon. Why Nagasaki ? - we had two bombs.

It was a pretty solid course, thought provoking.
