unacceptable entity the US federal gvmt has become.

If Trump somehow exemplifies that reality through his absurdity, terrific.

His actual positions on relevant current issues is largely a "more hits than misses" situation.

He's wrong on tariffs, but I understand that he thinks he's negotiating with a partner who only recognizes power.

He's wrong on his rhetoric about the border; but not in wishing to secure it.

He's wrong to have not taken a stand (any) on overall spending and especially leaving it out of his rhetoric and focus. This is his biggest mistake politically.

Trump didn't seek the Presidency to fix the US.

He did seek it to secure it; he's a nationalist first and foremost.

Given the idiocy in this country, I can't blame him for that. Maybe socialism will lose this ideological battle and some folks will then refocus on fixing our spending.
