and the description of what you mentioned is exactly how he was advertised - a very good mid major coach who went to 4 straight tourneys with Dayton but never coached at the P6 level. Year 2 isn't going very well but have to give him at least another season to right the ship.
Also, there aren't really any top tier coaches out there. Say Roy or Self leaves tomorrow? Who exactly is top tier that is leaving their post? Few isn't leaving Gonzaga, Izzo isn't leaving MSU, Beilein seems content at Mich, Brad Stevens is a stud in the NBA. It's few and far between.
