Funner still is that the bombastic, egomaniacal public persona that is Trump has likely become an almost sympathetic figure to many due to the opposition's relentless over-playing of their hand and assault. They've fatigued all but the most fervent die-hards.
Of all the humans in the world, I never thought I'd say trump appears "rational" by comparison.
You can't script this kind of comedy.
