1) You say that immigrants can come into our country freely and once here, they can apply for asylum. However:
a) You must come in through a port of entry and the only one is in Southern California;
b) You must remain in the State which you first enter until your asylum claim is resolved;
c) No federal assistance will be offered to the State to cover the costs of asylum seekers.
