If I was an adult chaperone there, I believe I would have asked the kids to not engage with the Indian and the Black Hebrews, and to not dance and to not chant stuff in response. Ideally if they did anything they would have prayed. I personally am not crazy about the behavior, I find it somewhat boorish, but I don't find it inherently racist. As a parent of teenagers, I find it rather typical. The kid that was silent and smiled at the Indian in his face with the drum after reviewing multiple videos was probably the calmest of the bunch and I don't think he did anything wrong or was in any way racist. But I'm also a 50 plus year old white dude. I was raised to be polite and respectful. The culture has changed. Since race is apparently a social construct, it's no wonder the culture has changed for all. It's perplexing why behavior by one group is now racist and for another it's not.
