His first version was that he wanted to defuse a potential confrontation between the Covington Catholic boys and the four Black Hebrew Israelites. Later he claimed that he was leading his group up to the Lincoln Memorial and the teenagers blocked his path. So he's obviously lying about his purpose. If he were leading his group to the Lincoln Memorial he had plenty of space to the right of the high schoolers to do so. The steps were clear. What is more likely is that he had hoped for the boys to attack him and his group so that he and other leftwing liars would have an excuse to label white kids as "racists." But they didn't take the bait. So the liars had to resort to lying about how the kids reacted to attach the false label. Leftist liars like you.
