Maybe, I'll be wrong on JP, too. Perhaps, JP doesn't even know what he's going to do.
My point is that NBA execs don't freak out if they draft a player late in the first round and he doesn't really play much the first year.
Wouldn't you rather make some nice $$$ sitting on a bench somewhere while working on your craft? The big money comes in that second contract, anyway.
