I'm guessing that there is some temporary extension of all current agreements, until such time as they do. The Euros won't want to throw open doors to allow individual countries to negotiate "brother in law" type trade terms.

I agree with your comment re the realization by political groups that the fantasy of an exit isn't the same as the reality of being isolated.
