would require kids to think rationally, logically, and with evidence, rather than with emotion.
A fabulous mental exercise. Very educational. Not teaching them what to think, but how of think.
Of course, the concern is that the teachers and administrators could not evaluate it fairly, and it would be a totally biased and one sided effort.
But the idea is rich with opportunities.
Much like a debate on whether or not the black Marxist was in fact a Marxist or communist. Let the students have an actual discussion or debate.
Of course any negative comments about the black Marxist would be racist. So that could never, ever, ever friggin ever happen.
The debates with degenerate into what we see on this board every day. The pickled idiots would just say, “LOL“ and “you’re a racist.“
They would then declare their little victory and their intellectual superiority, and go back to watching the Kardashians.
A great learning tool I think, would be to have liberals argue the side of that Trump is not a racist or a fascist. Have conservatives take the side that he is.
That tends to expand of the perspective.
