once engaged the guy, from what I saw, and I sat close to our bench. There has never been a highly successful coach in the modern era who takes the attitude of Cuonzo, and never challenges the officials in the open, getting technicals when needed, and most important - standing up for his players.
Who is more important - your players/men's backs or some misguided "treat the official as a man" naivety.
Norm would have had that official who called the technical on Tilmon scared to leave the locker room for the second half. He would have never called the ridiculous fifth foul on Tilmon knowing the wrath that Norm, and the supporting crowd, would impose.
