I think it has to do with matchups and opponents. One of the keys to beating Arkansas for us is guarding their good perimeter players. Jordan Roundtree gives us a great defensive presence on the outside, and she did really good again last night.
I noticed Arkansas was really focused on defending Haley when she was in the game. To her credit she didn’t force her offense but moved the ball to the open area. It’s similar to Hannah Schucts, the opposing coaches know what she can do on the outside, so they don’t leave her open.
Haley Troup will have some more big games coming I’m pretty sure.
