making entry passes, so they tend to dribble until the pass is easily available. When D's get aggressive, that means the ball sticks with the point and often leads to a situation where they're throwing up late clock shots that aren't ideal.
Same can happen with perimeter passing. You see the ball go around the horn and back because folks are afraid to make the entry pass or challenge their defender off the dribble. Sometimes that's on the passer, sometimes it's on the post player for not establishing position and presenting a target.
