Working for the PD on campus in the 80's it was amazing at the number of crimes committed by non-students who saw the campus as their gravy train. From faculty and staff offices, to the Med Center, and to folks working out at Brewer-Rothwell, there were career criminals who used Mizzou as an easy mark.


Time has only made it much, much worse.

A highlight of my time there was catching a guy who committed agg. burglary at FarmHouse fraternity, helping himself to the wallets of sleeping fraternity members at 2 in the morning.

Another was taking guns (stolen) off non-students at a black fraternity dance at the lab school gym.
