win 8 games 6-7 times per decade
win 10+ games 1-2 times per decade
win 6-7 games 1-2 times per decade
Miss a bowl game once in a blue moon. Considering the current system, we should never miss a bowl game. It will happen, but it shouldn't.
If your expectations are lower than this, you are too soft.
If your expectations are higher than this, you are probably unrealistic unless we stumble upon hiring in the next Nick Saban when he's young and nobody else realizes it yet. Which I have always contended should always be your goal when hiring a coach.
We can't hire Nick Saban or Coach K at Mizzou. Therefore we must try to identify that guy before he becomes famous.
