There was the bipartisan Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act of 2013. That bill had $46 billion for border security but the majority of that was to hire more border patrol agents, not to build a border fence. The dems have consistently offered to increase spending on border security. The idea that they are against border security and don't want a secure border is as made up as the facts of this post.
