in finding gems in the dust and having the ability to coach them up. I'm fine with that as long as he can do it better than Pinkel, i.e. eventually win an SEC Championship.

If we can recruit the best players in Missouri, get good players out of Texas and then raise our profile across the SEC states to get better quality players against our competition, we can do it. Sounds like a ton, but if you can start winning, things happen.

Odom getting Bryant, to me, was a mark in the sand that he might be a better recruiter than Pinkel. I don't know if Pinkel closes that deal.
