Restoring our defense program is necessary and expensive. Weeding out the migrant criminals who are in the U.S. unlawfully and are who soaking up welfare benefits takes time.

Once the wall is completed, the continuous uptick in money spent propping up migrants who have entered the country by criminal means will dramatically slow.
