and got his head straight. Lock's freshman year was a complete and utter disaster. Granted, he was thrown into the fray before he was ready, but not having a competent QB coach didn't help one bit.
Add to that the fact that Pinkel and his staff did absolutely nothing to leverage our two SEC East titles in terms of recruiting, and Odom wasn't left much. The best holdover RB we had was Iso Witter, who never would have seen the field for most SEC teams. If I'm not mistaken, the entire O line had to be rebuilt, not that the last one of Pinkel's tenure did much, even though it was chocked full of experienced players.
