likely he did so poorly in year one that his window of opportunity is now closed in similar fashion.

But they haven't had an above .500 conference record since 2009-10 when they went 10-8 in the B1G. So he is dealing with different expectations, they are likely ok being mired in obscurity and relative failure and may thusly give him more time before cutting him loose.
