and Washington was where he spent a decade of his life, and which was once considered his dream job.
But he turned it down (even a chance to interview with Michigan), because Mizzou was his "dream" school. His words.
Odom should be at his dream school. The only Div 1 school that gave him a chance to play D1 ball. The only school that gave him a chance to become a coach after his playing days. The only P5 conference school to give him a coordinators job. And then the only P5 school to offer him the head job at his alma mater, even though he has zero head coaching experience.
He only exists in this world of collegiate football because of Mizzou.
He's done extremely mediocre.
There are as many bad and horrible moments as good moments... and overall we are 10-14 in conference, never once finishing above .500. And he is 3-17 against teams with a winning record.
On top of it... we don't have a QB we can count on for next year, after he got the pleasure of being gifted a first round NFL QB from the previous coach.
After all that....
He then plants a story in the paper (through his agent) that Mizzou, his alma mater and 'dream job' is no better than fricking Louisville?
He's started 0-4 in the SEC all three years.
Get this guy the hell out of here
