he's a 1000 point scorer on a team where nobody is even close to that. He and Geist are the only seniors, and Jordan is gonna be working more at pg. Other than Tilmon, those are the only three who have produced at this level.
That doesn't mean this is a good thing for the team, but I'm also not optimistic on this team's chances overall. Several of the newcomers have much higher ceilings, but they're just as likely to have much bigger slumps due to lack of experience.
Kevin's the most likely choice to lead the team in scoring this year, just based on past production. He's the leading scorer among the returning players, he plays a ton of minutes because he doesn't foul a lot, and gets to the FT line a lot due to being actually very good at drawing contact (and shoots FT at a very high rate)
